Course 1 — Module 0

Why This Matters for Amazon Sellers

Before we install anything or write a single file, you need to understand what is actually at stake here. Not in a vague “AI is the future” way — in a very specific, what-does-this-mean-for-my-Amazon-business way.

The Cost of Staying at Level 1

Level 1 AI use looks like this: you open a chat window, you type a question, you get an answer, you copy it somewhere, you close the tab. That is it. That is the full workflow.

There is nothing wrong with this as a starting point. But here is what it costs you:

Time you do not realize you are losing

Every time you start a new chat, you spend two to five minutes re-establishing context. Who you are, what you sell, what the goal is. Across a workday of AI-assisted tasks, that adds up to 30-60 minutes of setup — every day — for work that could be eliminated entirely.

Insight sitting in files you never hand Claude

Your best data is in files on your computer: PPC bulk sheets, sales reports, inventory exports, customer review spreadsheets. At Level 1, Claude never sees any of it — because you are working in a chat window, not with files. So you either copy-paste manually (slow, error-prone) or you just never ask Claude to analyze it at all.

Execution gaps

At Level 1, Claude tells you what to do. You still have to go do it. Every recommendation requires a separate manual step. At Level 2, Claude does not just analyze the PPC bulk file — it writes the adjusted bids back out as a new file ready to upload.

What Competitors Are Already Doing

AI adoption is not uniform. Some sellers are still at Level 1. Others have quietly moved to Level 2 and 3. The ones at Level 3 are running weekly PPC audits automatically, getting inventory reorder alerts before they run out of stock, and generating listing copy from a product spec sheet in under two minutes.

The gap between Level 1 and Level 2 is not about being more technical. It is about configuration. The tools already exist. This course shows you how to configure them.

Why Amazon Sellers Specifically

Amazon selling is data-dense. You have orders, inventory, advertising, reviews, rankings, competitors, and supplier relationships all running simultaneously. That is exactly the kind of environment where an AI that knows your business context is dramatically more useful than a generic chatbot.

When Claude knows your ASINs, your PPC targets, your brand tone, and where your files live — every single task you bring to it gets better output faster. Not marginally better. Significantly better.

The Mental Shift

Here is the core reframe that makes everything in this course click:

Stop typing to AI. Start giving AI access to your business.

At Level 1, you are the middleman. You pull data, you describe your business, you copy-paste AI output, you take action manually.

At Level 2, the AI works directly with your files and your context. You give it access once. From that point on, it knows where to look.

That is what CLAUDE.md, MEMORY.md, and folder structure are for. You will build all of that in the modules ahead.

What You Will Be Able to Do When This Course Is Done

  • Ask Claude to analyze a PPC bulk file and get a specific, actionable output — without copy-pasting anything
  • Draft a supplier negotiation email in two minutes using notes from your last conversation with them
  • Get a weekly order summary with anomalies flagged — generated from your actual sales export
  • Have Claude write listing copy that matches your brand voice — because your brand voice is documented in your CLAUDE.md

None of these require coding. They require setup. Let’s do that setup.
