It’s the day after Amazon’s Prime Day, did everyone get what they wanted? Despite the demand for popular Amazon items and them selling out quickly, I was able to get myself a Kindle for $49! Sure, I had an advantage because I’m three hours ahead of my West Coast compatriots, but I still woke up early to get my deal. Besides the Kindle deal, I wasn’t able to find anything else I really wanted. I followed the online chatter yesterday about Prime Day. And what I discovered was a less than favorable dialogue toward Amazon’s Black Friday-esque retail holiday. Adobe was tracking the conversation and it reported half of the messages on Twitter and Facebook communicated disappointment toward the deals.
So maybe Prime Day wasn’t a hit for everyone. The good news is that shoppers don’t have to wait for a couple of key dates each year to get great deals online. Snagshout.com offers nearly 400 deals on unique products daily in varied quantities. Every product on the site is purchased through Amazon at varying discount rates. Some recent deals on the site have been Lenovo tablet cases, goose feather bedding, messenger bags, toys and more. If you feel like you missed out, then here are 4 ways to beat the Prime Day blues with Snagshout:
Snagshout deals are open to everyone with an Amazon account–regardless if you’re a Prime member or not.
Seriously. Anyone with an Amazon account can snag a deal on our site. You just need to create a Snagshout account, connect your Amazon profile, and start shopping. Be aware that you will more than likely pay for shipping on many products if you don’t have Prime.
Everyday is Prime Day on Snagshout–minus the negative sentiment.
We don’t specify one particular day that you can get a deal. Shoppers are free to snag deals any day of the week. Keep in mind that you can only get one deal at a time because you have to leave an honest product review in order to snag another product.
Get a deal–and have a good chance of getting it–on products you actually want.
You’re supporting small business across the U.S.
Unlike Prime Day with its big deals benefiting mainly Amazon, Snagshout is full of small businesses selling online who need shoppers to try their products and leave honest reviews. Doesn’t that make you feel a little better?
Certainly Amazon’s Prime Day was a success. Although the company probably won’t release any official sales numbers, Greg Greeley, vice president of Amazon Prime, released a statement yesterday in regards to yesterday’s sale: “Prime members have already bought tens of thousands of Fire TV Sticks, 35,000 Lord of the Rings Blu-Ray sets, 28,000 Rubbermaid sets, and 4,000 Echo devices in 15 minutes. We also sold 1,200 of the $999 TVs in less than 10 minutes.”
Now that the deals have passed, you can still find great Amazon deals at Snagshout. The site is still fairly new; the full platform version launched just a few weeks ago. As the site continues to grow so will the amount and quality of deals. I’m positive Snagshout will pacify anyone’s Prime Day blues.
