What is the feature?
“Send this Message for” (aka “Custom Messages for Repeat Buyers”) allows you to create a custom message for repeat buyers. Your messages in Feedback Genius default to sending the same message to everybody on every purchase, so this feature allows you to customize and select who receives your message based off of their purchase history.
Why you would use this feature?
You can use this feature to further customize and personalize your messages to make your customer service stand out! You can create messages for first-time buyers or for customers who have bought four or more times from you. If you create a message and target first-time buyers, you can welcome them to your company and who you are as a business. For repeat buyers, you can thank them for being such loyal customers. A custom message to a repeat buyer is a great opportunity to lead into asking for product reviews or seller feedback. This is done with the assumption that if they are satisfied with your service and products, they are more likely to leave a review or feedback.
How do I access and use it?
To access this feature, select the message you would like to edit and click on the Navicon menu to the right to edit the filters of your message.
Here, under the Filters tab, you can edit the custom messages parameter.
For example, this message above is currently configured to only send to a buyer’s first purchase.
Once you have configured the custom message parameter, click on “Done” at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
