As I write this blog post I’m nervously awaiting 20 cartons to ship directly from my supplier in China to an Amazon Center in California. The supplier has said they have experience drop shipping for other clients and they’ve assured me the cartons have Amazon FBA labels, but I’m still nervous.
Prior to drop shipping I ordered a sample. I confirmed the product was good, but did notice a mistake with the UPC label. It was too small and my reader couldn’t identify the product.
I asked the supplier to provide photos of the shipping cartons with the FBA labels. My sales representative was not able to provide the photo prior to the carton’s shipping. But he’s confident that the FBA labels were placed on the cartons correctly.
I have no idea what the consequences are if Amazon receives product that is not labeled correctly. My assumption is they just toss the product or rate you poorly.
I’ll keep you posted when I know more.
