This post is an update of our August 20, 2015, post about the Analytics feature. This post is intended to instruct Feedback Genius users on how to access and use Analytics in the new UI.
What is the feature?
“Message Analytics” allows you to measure the effectiveness of your Feedback Genius messages.
What would I use this feature for?
The “Message Analytics” feature allows you to test and see how well your Feedback Genius messages are performing. The analytics charts provide you with data on the open and click through rates based on the amount of messages sent. It also informs you on the total amount of unsubscribes each message has received. This feature gives you the ability to test and see if something like a different subject line or content will improve your response rate and decrease unsubscribes.
How do I access and use it?
You can access this feature from the “Messages” page. Each message will have the Analytics option from the Navicon menu.
Analytics charts automatically calculate open rates without the need to reconfigure the settings. Click Through rates, however, need to be switched on from the bottom of the Analytics page for each message.
Keep in mind, Click Through rates will only track the Feedback Genius variable links being used and will not track results on any third-party links.
