Feedback Genius is here to help you stay organized. If you need to know and filter the differences between your customers. Discount filters allow you to use your Feedback Genius messages to target, or not target, buyers who have purchased your product at a discount. We’ll go over when and how to use this helpful feature.
What would I use this feature for?
Discount filters are great for maximizing the opportunity to request for product reviews from buyers who purchased your item at a discounted price. This could be used as a supplementary tool for promotions run on platforms such as Snagshout, and can act as a tool to boost your reviews.
Using these filters allow following up with emails that can be used to provide:
1.) A customer service follow up- Ensure a positive customer experience with every purchase
2.) Educational content- Offer an additional incentive to engage and educate your buyer on the item purchased by providing a PDF or ebook How To material
3.) An extra touch base to follow up for a product review
How do I access and use it?
To access this feature, select the message you would like to edit and click on the Navicon menu to the right to edit the filters of your message.
Here under the Filters tab, select “Show Advanced Filters, and you will find the discount toggles.
These three parameters can be used in conjunction or separately.
Item price is less than (or equal to): Set the the maximum price the item must be purchased for (Defaults to “0” which is N/A)
Item price is greater than (or equal to): Set the minimum price the item must be purchased for (Defaults to “0” which is N/A)
Discount was applied to item: Send the message based on whether or not a discount was applied to the purchase.
N/A means not applicable and is the default value. This means that the message will send to a buyer regardless of whether or not a discount was applied.
No means no discount was applied, and send a message based on a purchase being made without a promo being applied.
Yes means a discount was applied, and send the message based on a promo being applied.
