What is the feature?
Using the Feedback Genius For Orders Placed feature parameters are optional settings that allow you to send order emails between specific dates.
What would I use this feature for?
This feature is useful for sending an email template to orders within a specific set of dates. For Orders Placed On or After is the start date/floor date and the For Orders Placed Before is the end date/ceiling date.
This is useful if you want to start fresh with Feedback Genius and not target orders before a chosen start date.
This is also useful if you would like to target a range of orders within a time frame.
How do I access and use the For Orders Placed feature?
You can set the date parameters at the bottom of the When tab for each of your templates. You will see that the settings have default dates already set; if left unmodified they will be ignored. Once the dates are changed, the selected email template will only send messages according to the date range set.
Now set the For Orders Placed On or After to the start date desired for the chosen template. And set the For Orders Placed Before to the end date..
For example, let’s imagine you just started using Feedback Genius and don’t want your messages to apply to orders before a specific start date. You only want to send messages to orders after today’s date and going forward: in this case, the For Orders Placed On or After date should be set to start on today’s date so it only takes into account orders after today. The For Orders Placed Before could be set to some date in the future, such as a date in 2099, which sets a ceiling date.
This tells the template to only target orders placed on or after today’s date.
As with all Feedback Genius features, please feel free to contact our customer support team at email@example.com if you have additional questions or concerns.
