The Feedback Genius Messages page has been refactored to provide our customers with a better experience. The refactorization of the Messages page became a necessary improvement because of its struggling performance with larger accounts. All Feedback Genius users—small and large—will now experience a faster-loading page and an optimized interface.
Refined Message Navigation—No More Scrolling
The pagination to the Messages page is the most notable update. Previously, the Messages page displayed users’ messages in an infinite scroll format, which required a lot of scrolling—especially for users with many messages. An unintended result of the infinite scroll combined with large data sets created a laggy performance.
Now, instead of every message loading on the same page, users can use the arrows in the top right corner of the page to navigate through their messages. If you have multiple pages of messages, users will notice improvements in the time it takes to load their messages as well as performing message-centric functions.
Message Status Filtering
Another new function is the ability to filter messages by their status. Previously, the only filtering function in Feedback Genius was the ability to add tags to a message. Now, users can filter their messages to display only active, paused or test messages. If a user wants to pause or reactivate a message, they can simply click the pause/play button in the Actions column to change the status (previously, paused messages were referred to as inactive messages). These enhancements will help users be more efficient in organizing and accessing their messages when working within Feedback Genius.
