There has never been a more fluctuating marketplace in the world as Amazon’s. Trends can come and go in a matter of hours, and sellers have to be up-to-date on everything. Finding the right resources to stay ahead of the curve is key. That’s why we’ve scoured the web and assembled our top 7 (in no particular order) Amazon FBA podcasts out from which sellers are sure to benefit.

The Amazing Seller Podcast with Scott Voelker

About the podcaster

Scott Voelker got into e-commerce by teaching online photography. He realized he could sell his own informational products online full time and earn a livable income. He built a successful business and brand, New Portrait Biz, in 2008. In 2014 he heard about Amazon FBA sellers and how profitable it could be and decided to take a crack at it. If you’d like to hear more about Scott listen to his first podcasts where he gives a full introduction here.

Our thoughts on the podcast

The Amazing Seller podcast is one of the more-popular Amazon FBA podcasts, and deservedly so. Scott works hard to have resources for seasoned sellers, and beginners. With more than 200 episodes under his belt, The Amazing Seller is bursting with content and covers a ton of Amazon topics. Our only gripe with the podcast is that every episode is nearly an hour long. This can be great when looking for an in-depth discussion of a topic, but it can also make the podcast difficult to digest at the risk of fluff. Overall this is a can’t-miss podcast for any seller.

Keyword: The Amazon Insider Podcast

About this podcaster and podcast

Kate Valentine is a former broadcast reporter. Her goal with this podcast is to give sellers a glimpse within the walls of Amazon to give them an inside scoop. The tagline for this podcast is “You’ll only hear from former and current Amazon employees.” It’s the newest podcast on the list but it packs a dense amount of content into a short period of time. Each episode is around 10 minutes.

Our thoughts on the podcast

Keyword is the most objective podcast on this list. The show doesn’t promote any sort of agenda other than understanding how Amazon works and how sellers can grow their businesses. This podcast is authoritative and sounds more like an NPR story than a podcast. The attention to detail to the production is refreshing and it shows Kate’s passion toward the project. Plus, this is the only podcast on this list that has had a guest who currently works at Amazon.

My Wife Quit Her Job Podcast with Steve Chou

About this podcaster

Steve and his wife were unhappy with their 9-5 jobs and with the discovery of an impending child they made an unconventional move. His wife quit her job, and they started a successful online store: Bumblebee Linens. Like most businesses it started slowly, but their gamble paid off and they were able to fully replace his wife’s $100K salary. Steve now runs a website and this podcast to help others who would like to follow in his family’s footsteps.

Our thoughts on the podcast

Though this may not be an Amazon exclusive podcast, it is still a high-quality treasure trove on online selling content. The star-studded guests of the show all bring unique insights to each of their fields, and there is something to learn each and every episode. All of the guests have started on their own and built their online empires with their bare hands and that’s something any online seller can appreciate.

Our favorite episode is where they discuss how to make $7.5M per year selling on Amazon.

The Ask Jordan Podcast with Jordan Malik

About the podcaster

Jordan Malik is a best-selling author, podcaster, serial entrepreneur and award-winning Amazon merchant. Jordan has been interviewed by Time, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and several entrepreneur podcasts and publications.

Our thoughts on the podcast

What we like most about Jordan’s Amazon FBA podcasts is that they’re based on the questions of his listeners. The listener interaction with the host adds a genuine feel to the podcasts and keeps Ask Jordan updated with new, topical, and interesting content. As far as podcasts go, Jordan’s episodes are pretty short because he answers the questions in an efficient manner. If you’re looking for answers, this podcast is a great place to start.

Our favorite episode is where Jordan tackles restricted categories on Amazon.

eCommerce Momentum with Stephen Peterson

About this podcaster

Stephen and his wife have seller accounts on Amazon, Ebay, their own site, and soon Etsy and 11Main. They decided to start selling online to help pay for college costs for their sons. They sell new, used, wholesale, and private label in all categories and are always looking for more opportunities.

Our thoughts on the podcast

We love Stephen’s podcast not only for his smart and insightful guests but also because he is one of the best interviewers in the industry. Stephen has the ability to keep the conversation going with smooth transitions and insightful questions. His natural approach to interviews and podcasts makes the listener feel like they too are part of the conversation.

Private Label Podcast with Kevin Rizer

About this podcaster

Kevin is another entrepreneur with a hunger for profit. His work experience is as varied as it is impressive. He is/has been Founder/President of Trade Days Processing, Chief Ideas Officer for KSR Consulting, President of KevCo LLC, and of course Host of Private Label Podcast!

Our thoughts on this podcast

The Private Label Podcast is a professionally run, and well-executed podcast. Kevin is a talented interviewer. He keeps the episodes on topic and asks the right questions to help give his listeners the answers they’re looking for. Newer sellers will love his Private Labeling for Dummies series, which is a great introduction to the industry.

Our favorite episode is where he talks about building an Amazon empire and capitalizing on trends!

FBA Journey Podcast with R.C. Rice

About this podcaster

R.C. was a small e-commerce seller when she started out. However, she’s always had a knack for sales. She mentions in her first episode that at a young age she orchestrated a candy business in her school. She started online selling in 2014 and, like a lot of sellers, has learned a lot through trial and error. What she once lacked in experience she makes up for ingenuity and spirit.

Our thoughts the podcast

Rice’s Amazon FBA podcasts are full of great gut instincts and reactive business decisions. Her first podcast episodes were published in 2015 so the earlier episodes have a green seller making her way through Amazon. This podcast is perfect for those who have just started out, or want to learn to not fear mistakes.

Our favorite episode is where she discusses Sales Above and Beyond Amazon.
