🔧 1. Accessing Advanced Filtering Options

To enable advanced filters:
➡️ Go to Custom Messages in Feedback Genius
➡️ Select or create a message
➡️ Scroll down and click “Show Advanced Filters” to reveal filtering tools


📦 2. Item-Based Filters

🚫 a. Exclude Specific ASINs or SKUs

Use:

  • ASIN Is Not

  • SKU Is Not

to prevent your message from sending to selected products.

✏️ Enter multiple values like:
B01XXXXXX,B01XXXXXY

🧩 b. Match or Exclude Using SKU Patterns

Use these to target multiple items with similar identifiers:

  • SKU Must Match Pattern

  • SKU Must NOT Match Pattern

🧠 Examples:

  • ^ABC → matches SKUs starting with “ABC”

  • ^ABC|^DEF → matches either pattern

These filters are ideal when managing product lines or bulk listings.

💡 Useful tip: SKU Must Match Pattern and SKU Must NOT Match Pattern work for when you are trying to target several SKUs at a time, using Regular Expressions. For more information about regular expressions, we suggest viewing this Regular Expression Cheat Sheet.

⚠️ c. One Filter Type at a Time

Only one item filter type (e.g., ASIN Is, ASIN Is Not, or SKU Pattern Match) is allowed per message.
🗑️ To switch, remove current entries before adding a new filter.

🌍 3. Shipping Country Filters

📫 Shipping Country Is – Target orders shipped to a specific country
🚫 Shipping Country Is Not – Exclude orders going to specific countries

🌐 Use 2-letter country codes:

  • 🇺🇸 US (United States)

  • 🇬🇧 GB (United Kingdom)

  • 🇯🇵 JP (Japan)

  • 🇫🇷 FR (France)

🚚 4. Fulfillment Channel Filters

By default, messages apply to both:

  • FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon)

  • FBM (Merchant Fulfilled)

You can narrow your message scope:

⚠️ Note for FBM (MFN):
To use delivery-based triggers (like “Delivered”), you must integrate with Amazon Seller Central due to API limitations.


⏱️ 5. Delivery Time Filtering

Use the Delivered Within filter to send messages only for orders delivered in the past X days.

🗓️ Example: 7 → triggers message for deliveries within the last 7 days.

💡 Leave blank to ignore this filter.
🧭 Works only with the “Delivered” event.

6. 🔁Advanced Filters for Repeat Purchases

Use the “Send this message for” filter to target or exclude a buyer based on how frequently they’ve purchased from your Amazon Store.

💡 Example use case: You sell a consumable product such as body lotion. Since you know that repeat buyers are probably happy with your product, you decide to send product review requests for buyers’ second, third, fourth, and subsequent purchases. You create a more general “thank you” message to first time buyers.


7. 🛍️Advanced Filters for Retail vs Wholesale Orders

Send different messages to customers based on whether they are wholesale (B2B) or retail (B2C) orders.

If you don’t want customers to receive a message if they already left feedback or returned a product, use these filters.

You can filter messages based on the price of products purchased or whether they were discounted.

Send messages based on the minimum condition of the product: New, Used – Like New, Used – Very Good, Used – Good, or Used – Acceptable.
