Use these four tips to get the most out of Seller Labs Pro to grow your reputation, earn more per sale, get discovered, and track your success on Amazon.
We’re on the precipice of the busiest time of the year for both sellers and non-sellers alike. There’s a lot going on in Q4. It’s important that you get the most from the increase in sales you’re going to receive between now and the end of the year. This means going beyond just earning revenue. I’m talking about propelling your brand and sales into 2020. So to help, here are 4 tips to get the most out of Seller Labs Pro to grow your reputation, earn more per sale, get discovered more, and track your success.
Tip 1: Create Your First Message in Feedback Genius
Once you’ve connected Feedback Genius to Seller Central, the next step is creating your first message. This is a painless but necessary step. However, many sellers forget to do it, which reduces the program’s value.
To create a message in Feedback Genius, click on the Messages tab in the navigation, click the “New Message” button, select which option suits your needs from the three available, and then move on to creating your message.
Twelve email templates come out of the box with Feedback Genius, which makes creating your first message even easier. Just plug in your details, select relevant variables, add your subject line and marketplace, and test your message. You can move on to more advanced delivery settings once your message is ready. Triggers and filters enable you to choose when your message is sent.
Once everything looks good then make your message live. For more detailed instructions on how to create your first message, visit the Knowledge Base.
Tip 2: Assign One Target ACOS for a Campaign in Ignite
In order to take advantage of Ignite’s intelligent suggestions, you first have to set a target ACOS for a campaign. As soon as a target ACOS has been set, Ignite will begin collecting data, which in turn creates suggestions for optimization. The more time that passes the better the suggestions will be.
Ignite will start to generate campaign ad suggestions within seven days of setting an ACOS target. Over time, you will need to adjust and steer Ignite to match the targets that you set for a given campaign. This is accomplished by setting ACOS targets in the list of your campaigns from the Campaigns page in Ignite.
Keep in mind that suggestions are dependent on the performance of your campaigns. This means that if they aren’t performing well then you won’t get as many or as accurate suggestions. Either way, you will have to accept or reject suggestions as they appear. Visit the Knowledge Base to learn more about suggestions as well as automating them.
Tip 3: Start Tracking Products in Scope
Scope is typically known for its Amazon keyword research ability. But did you know that it’s great for tracking products, too? Along with the ability to track keywords, Scope will track products and store them in your product database.
So why would you want to track products? Tracking products gives you a visual representation of a product’s price history, sales rank, review count, and review rating on Amazon for a 90-day to a one-week window.
All of this is helpful for you to know how you and your competition’s products are performing. What’s more, you’ll get detailed keyword information that shows which keywords are generating the most organic sales.
Tracking products through Scope is easy. You can either use the Chrome extension on Amazon to track a product by clicking the “Track this Product” icon, or by searching for an ASIN within the Scope web app. That’s it!

Tip 4: Upload a Cost of Goods Sold to Quantify
Did you know that you can bulk upload your Amazon sales spreadsheets into Quantify for quicker analysis? Seller Central gives you a lot of information but oftentimes it’s confusing to know what you should do with it all. That’s where Quantify comes in.
Gain a clearer picture of your net profit by uploading the cost of goods sold (COGS) for all of your products. The COGS metric is critical for measuring your overall profitability. When you have a clear picture of your profits, you’ll be better able to manage fees outside of Amazon—especially in production expenses.
Once you have your financial spreadsheets from Seller Central, you can upload them into Quantify. Please read our guide on how to upload your Excel files correctly into Quantify.
You can go beyond your COGS to combine product profitability information with conversion data to determine where you have even more opportunities. This means combining your Quantify Financial reports (like net profit margin, net sales, and net profit) with data you can find in the Quantify Promote report. This report shows you the products that have high conversion rates (greater than 25%) but need more traffic.
You now have a set of steps to get you started with all of Seller Labs’ products. Once you’ve completed these initial steps you’ll be ready to take on more advanced tactics to build your business on Amazon.
