Have you ever wanted to further customize your Feedback Genius messages? This is possible through the use of HTML inside the program’s HTML Mode.
You may be asking yourself, “Why do I need this and what would I use it for?”
Let me explain what you can do with this feature. With HTML Mode, you can further customize your messages by adding images, backgrounds, borders and other styling. The possibilities with adding custom HTML can vary from adding captivating images, tables, and a strong call to action button.
How can you access and use HTML Mode?
First, click on “Messages” at the top of the screen, and then select the template you want to edit. Next, from the “content” tab, you can access the HTML button at the top left hand corner of the content box.
From here, you can add your own HTML. We have a few articles about HTML on our Knowledge Base. If you have not previously used HTML, please exercise caution when editing your messages, and do not switch your message to “Active” mode unless you are completely certain the template looks and acts they way you designed it. Be sure to use the “Test Messages” feature to test how the template looks. Having prior knowledge and experience with HTML with serve you well. But if you’re not comfortable with it, ask an HTML developer in your office for help or hire one.
